Yunjia is a graphic designer based in NYC and came from Shanghai, China. She believes in the power of design to provoke thoughts and invite discussion. She enjoys combining design, writing, and media to question everyday normalcy, surveillance, and power.
She obtained a BFA degree in Communication Design, with minors in Art History and Gender and Sexuality Studies from Pratt Institute.
She is currently working at Forbes. Open to colloborations.

Amsterdam visualizes an alternative universe, A cyber city where everyone voluntarily uploads all their information and data onto a central controlling system. The project plays around typography, symbolism, and photography to illustrate this imagined dystopian society.
The narrative is loosely based on my science fiction novel, Amsterdam.
